HAZARD REDUCTIONS | Earlier this morning, #FRNSW joined land mangers to conduct two hazard reduction burns. These burns were located in Balgowlah and Little Bay. The prevailing NNE winds will possibly push the smoke from these burns into parts of metropolitan Sydney. View on X [external link]

EARTHQUAKE | #FRNSW has dispatched crews across NSW from Alexandria, Manly and Hornsby in Sydney to as far as Dubbo in Western NSW following reports of tremors felt across the state. No reports of major structural damage in NSW have been received. View on X [external link]

TARCUTTA | A semi trailer has collided with another parked truck and caught fire, coming to a stop in the media strip of the Hume Hwy 5 km south of Tarcutta. RENWICK | A lady is being treated by @NSWAmbulance for smoke inhalation following a fire in a lounge room of a house on Challoner Rise near Mittagong. #FRNSW crews contained the fire and are assisting with overhaul. View on X [external link]

TAHMOOR | #FRNSW and @NSWRFS firefighters responded to the Potholes in bush land near Tahmoor to assist @NSWAmbulance with the recovery of a bush walker who had fallen and sustained a broken ankle. The patient was secured in a litter and wheeled out of the bush. View on X [external link]

ROOTY HILL | #FRNSW crews are working to extinguish a silo thats on fire on Kellogg Rd. A ladder platform truck will be used to direct water into the top of the silo. Non-essential workers have been evacuated and 30 firefighters are in attendance. View on X [external link]

NARRABRI | Firefighters have contained a fire to the roof of a school on Gibbons St. 230 people evacuated. Operations are ongoing, no injuries reported. View on X [external link]

WISEMANS FERRY | Firefighters from #FRNSW and the @NSWRFS are responding to reports of a truck crash on The Northern Rd. The truck has rolled on a hairpin turn. Smoke has been reported in the area. Driver is out of the truck. View on X [external link]

NORTH SYDNEY | A truck has lost multiple 15L drums of chlorine on the Bradfield and Pacific Hwys. The drums have been ruptured by other motorists. North bound traffic is affected just after the harbour bridge. #HAZMAT crews are working on a plan to contain and remove the spill. View on X [external link]

FORBES | A home on Flint St has been severely damaged by fire overnight. Firefighters arrived just after 9:30 pm and found a single level unit well alight. The fire was contained to the unit of origin. No injuries were reported, investigations into the cause are ongoing. View on X [external link]

NARRABRI | A fire that started in a conveyer belt of a factory on Baranbar St has spread into a silo. Hose lines have been directed into the silo to keep it cool and it will eventually be emptied and fully extinguished. #FRNSW crews have been on scene since 4:17 am this morning.
